The Tutor Console

The Tutor Console is the primary interface for:

  • Connecting to Student devices

  • Maintaining Student information

  • Selecting which Students to work with

  • Selecting tasks to carry out.

The title bar

This indicates that you are in the Tutor Console.

The toolbar

The toolbar contains access to the tasks and tools for NetSupport School.

The List view

The List viewClosed Displays the currently connected Students or groups. You can switch the display mode between large icons and details view from the View tab in the ribbon. displays the currently connected Students.

Note: Student names can also be customised using the Student Register function.


The List view can be viewed in the following modes:

Monitor Mode
Web View
Survey View

Click on the individual icons on the left-hand side of the Tutor Console.

The lower panes can be minimised to make more room for the Student thumbnails. Click the Minimise View icon.

The status bar

The status bar is displayed at the bottom of the Tutor Console. It shows the number of currently connected and selected Students.
