Tutor Console - View menu

Provides access to the View customisation, Monitor mode and Survey options.

Toolbar: Provides access to the Tutor Console customisation functions.

Status bar Displayed at the bottom of the Tutor Console. It shows the current class you are in, the number of currently connected Students and the number of Students in the selected group. You can select which Students to perform actions to from here and how Students are displayed in the List view.: Toggles the Status bar on and off.

Thumbnail Mode: A thumbnail of each connected Student screen is displayed in the List view Displays the currently connected Students or groups. You can switch the display mode between large icons and details view from the View tab in the ribbon.. This is the default view.

Details Mode: Changes List view to text mode with details.

The options below will only be displayed if you are working in the default Monitor mode.  Click here to view the options available in Survey mode.

Arrange to Layout: Student thumbnails will be arranged as the current classroom layout.

Auto Arrange: Student thumbnails will be arranged as the default layout.

Update: Changes the Student thumbnail refresh rate.

Size: Customise the size of the displayed thumbnails.

Auto fit Students: Automatically adjust the size of the thumbnails to fit the window.

Show Active Application: An icon will appear in the top left of each thumbnail indicating which application is currently active at the Student machine.

Show Active Web Site: Displays an icon in the top right of each thumbnail indicating which site the Student is currently visiting.

Zoomed Mode: Toggles the zoom facility on and off.
