Tutor Console - File menu

This is used for accessing functions that affect the overall operation and configuration of the Tutor.

Manage Class

• Refresh: Refreshes the list of connected Students. This is useful for adding Students who arrive late for the session and whose machines were not available when the session began.

• End Class: Allows you to end the current class.

Register: Ask Students to register their details at the start of a lesson.

Send/Collect Work: Choose to send or collect a file to Student machines using a browse feature or a wizard.

Configuration: Displays the Configuration dialog from which you can set items such as what Students to connect to at start up.

Modify Student List: Displays the Modify Known List dialog. From here, you can browse for new Students and add them to the known list.

Tablet

• Modify Student Settings: Modify the configuration settings for Android Students.

• Apply Student Settings: Allows you to 'push' out the configuration settings to Android Students.

Exit: End the current session and disconnects any connected Students.
