Client Properties - Details tab

This is where you can store background information about the Student machine. More importantly, you can change the name of the Student machine that is displayed in the List view Displays the currently connected Students or groups. You can switch the display mode between large icons and details view from the View tab in the ribbon. in the Tutor Console.

The following options are available:

Display name

If set this is the name that will be displayed in the List view at the Tutor instead of the actual Student name. Note that this only applies at the Tutor machine. The real name as set at the Student machine remains the same.

Description

Using this for storing useful information about the Student.

Contact and Phone Number

Store the name of the machine user and a relevant telephone number for the machine.

Mac/Ethernet Address

Store the Mac/Ethernet Address of the Student machine.

Appearance

Allows you to change the icon displayed for the Student.
